Dress Up Day

This Friday is Dress-Up Day.  Room 10 voted on a theme and the winner was 'Pyjamas'.  Each student needs to bring a sweet treat (chocolate, lollies, truffles, biscuits) that can be used as raffles for the Quiz night coming up on Monday 25th June.  Quiz tickets are available to buy from the school office for $5 per member and you can have between 4 - 6 members in your team.

Making Music

Room 10 are learning about music notation this term, including the names and lengths of various notes.  We are using the glockenspiels to create some music too.

The Playhouse Performance

It is wonderful to see a live performance and today we had the Playhouse Theatre group visit George Street Normal School.  There was singing, dancing, lots of laughing and even 'The Floss' dance move featured!  The performance had some strong messages for us to think about too.

Making Mother's Day Cards with our Buddies

Today we were creating cards for our wonderful mothers.  Room 4 came over and Room 10 were excellent at helping their buddies with their cards.

Probability Investigations

We have been learning about probability in mathematics.  Here are some photos of us investigating the probability of choosing a coloured counter, bean, block or jellybean and recording our results.

Ridima's Strength Goal

Today Ridima dazzled us with her knowledge on Science.  Everyone learnt a lot and there was even a quiz at the end to test how well we listened!  Well done Ridima!!!

Maths - Temperature

We have been learning about temperature for maths.  Here we are today using thermometers to measure the air temperature in different places around our school.
