International Day

Look at us all dressed up in our country's colours!  We are so lucky to have such a multicultural classroom and school.  It has been lovely having our sister school visitors from Japan here this week too.  Don't they look amazing?!

Toy Making

As part of our technology unit, we have been investigating toys and how they have changed over time.  Today everyone chose a toy that they would like to make at school.  We had:

* Silly Putty
* Shoe box houses
* Tic Tac Toe made out of painted stones
* Flour stress balls
* Finger Puppets

A huge thank you to Kate our amazing teacher aide and Anashai who comes in to help out each Tuesday.  It was messy but fun!

Ariana B's Presentation about The Tītī Islands

Ariana visits the Tītī Islands every year with her whānau. Everyone has to work hard while they are there, and Ariana's favourite job is de-waxing the birds. The children in Room 10 were very interested to learn about what happens on the Tītī Islands.
